Yoga is the big thing now with celebrities. I look at the celebrities with their perfect bodies and want so bad to become a yoga guru. I’ve tried to do yoga but just find it way too boring. I know that yoga can strengthen your body and clear your mind but I just cannot get into “the zone”. I watch the celebrities that are big yoga supporters like Jennifer Aniston, Madonna and Gwyneth Paltrow and wish I could have their bodies. I thought to myself this is an elite group and only a few succeed. But I was surprised to find out how wrong I was. I searched the web via my wireless internet and found there are many celebrity yoga fans you didn’t know.They may not be shouting it from the rooftops but they are gaining the benefits. I have discovered it is not just the already little petite actresses. It is celebrities of all body shapes and sizes. I found out that comedian, Jerry Seinfeld practices yoga. The famous muscian Sting and his wife claim that yoga reverses the aging process. Actors, Matthew McConaughey and Tobey Maguire incorporate yoga into thier workouts. Rapper, Russell Simmons is a big advocate of yoga and practices it daily. Basketball player, LeBron James does yoga to keep him healthly and at 6’8 can do a full headstand. Tennis Star, Andy Murray uses yoga to stay fit and flexible. NBA player, Shaquille O’Neal also use yoga as a fitness tool. The famous basketball star Kareem Abdul- Jabbar has been practicing yoga for years. I always thought that practicing yoga was for the already tiny actresses with practically no body fat already. If these big guys can hold these little yoga poses, then so can I. I’m gonna give it a “Kareem Abdul-Jabbbar” try.
